Initial Consultation
We offer a free 30 minute consultation at which we come meet you and your pets, learn about their routines and needs, and answer any questions that you may have. Scheduling We use "Time To Pet" software for all scheduling. It is a very user-friendly system! Clients are required to create an account before services begin. You can request services through "Time To Pet" or by emailing Jesse directly. Paperwork All clients must sign a service contract as well as a vet release form which are both on the client portal. We also request that you contact your vet clinic and inform them that Pawsitive Steps PDX is authorized to bring your pet in for care in case of an emergency. Payment options We accept ACH (electronic check) as well as credit cards. Clients select a payment method when creating their Time To Pet account. Full payment for all dog walking and pet sitting services are due upon invoice. Office Hours Our office hours are Monday through Friday 8am-6pm, Saturday 10am-2pm, Closed on Sunday. If you try to reach us outside of these hours we will contact you the next business day. Cancellation Policy/Deposits We require 24 hour cancellation notice for dog walks. If notice is given less than 24 hours in advance you will be invoiced for the full amount. For overnight pet care services we require a 50% deposit at the time of booking. The deposit can be applied as a credit for future services if you cancel at least 14 calendar days in advance. If notice of cancellation is given less than 14 calendar days in advance, the deposit is nonrefundable. Keys We require clients provide two sets of house keys prior to starting services. One will be used by your sitter and the other will be kept securely at the office to ensure our ability to reach your pet(s) in the improbable case of key loss. Alternatively, you can purchase a lockbox and give us the code. Injured/Sick pets Clients are required to provide information on their pets' health history and veterinary contact prior to starting services, along with a signed vet release form. If one of your pets becomes injured or ill under our care we will contact you immediately and take them to your preferred vet clinic. If it is after hours we take them to Dove Lewis Animal Hospital. |
